What is Train4Lab?
Train4Lab is a specialised digital working and continuing education environment for laboratory diagnostics, for personal professional development and institutional laboratory use.
Train4Lab supports confidence in laboratory diagnostics through professional context, repetition and reflection. It is not a generic LMS and does not assess competence.
Laboratory management, quality management and PREMIUM
PREMIUM is the institutional offering for one laboratory. Pricing uses 30 staff as a reference, not as a user limit. PREMIUM combines institutional Train4Lab access with LearnWorlds as a complementary learning environment and the Train4Lab laboratory report.
- The laboratory report shows available topics and usage at organisation level in aggregate; its source, period and coverage limit what it can show.
- LearnWorlds is a complementary learning environment within PREMIUM, separate from Train4Lab.
- No assessment of individual performance.
- No rankings or comparison views.
- No automated competence assessment; detailed values may be suppressed or omitted for small groups.
- Live webinars for PREMIUM and additional live formats are provided as needed and by agreement.
- For each registered PREMIUM user, the first optional Train4Lab certificate is included where offered for the area. Additional optional certificates cost EUR 30.
- no staff assessment or monitoring
- no replacement for SOPs, medical assessment or internal quality management responsibility; no accreditation, compliance or attendance certificate
- LABMANAGER is a separate Premium add-on and is not included.
BASIS for BMA and MTL professionals
BASIS focuses on the individual and may also be provided by a laboratory. Each person works independently and keeps their own progress and records.
BASIS is personal access: EUR 285 per person/year in 2026, EUR 365 per year from 2027. Professional questions are explored without an examination format.

Train4Lab supports continuing education and orientation in the workplace without making a formal qualification claim.
- A demo, test access or optional pilot helps identify the appropriate starting point.
- PREMIUM is the standard institutional access; a pilot is optional.
- LABMANAGER can be discussed separately as a Premium add-on if needed.
- no guaranteed reduction in errors or automatic improvement in clinical outcomes
- no general CPD recognition or blanket ISO or compliance conformity
- no claim of integration with local or customer systems or automatic data exchange
- Videos and visualisations supplement professional context; they are not a separate product offering.
